Get to Know Us

In a world where mental health struggles often go unnoticed, one visionary leader, Carlos Miller, decided to take action. After the tragic loss of a close friend and student to suicide, he knew he had to make a difference. That's when our business idea, a community-driven initiative within the JiuJitsu world, was born.

For over two decades, we've been dedicated to training, teaching, and supporting countless individuals through the practice of Jiu-jitsu. Throughout this journey, we've always felt a deeper calling, a greater purpose that extends beyond the mats.

Jiu-jitsu and its community have personally guided us through some of our darkest moments, and now, we are committed to extending that support to others. Our mission is clear: to reach individuals before they face the depths of despair, to be there at the core of the problem. Whether it's battling depression or any other mental health issue, we aspire to be a beacon of hope and healing, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

By fostering an environment of understanding and support, we aim to break the silence surrounding depression, ensuring that no one suffers alone. Together, we can tackle this silent killer and provide hope for those who need it most.

.

We believe that through our work, we can empower individuals to take control of their mental health and find strength in their struggles.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to raise awareness and create a safe space for all individuals battling depression or coping with the loss of a teammate. We firmly believe that we are not just a team but also one big family.

“My favorite aspect of Jiu-Jitsu is the discipline that it requires when my depression is telling me to stay in bed,  I know it's going to make me feel worse so I do the opposite and I wake up early for Jiu-Jitsu”
